Linger In His Lavish Love
To go along with episode 25 (about Secure Attachments), I am posting a painting I had done of Jesus & I in a ‘lingering’ embrace, within a field of Hyssop flowers. Hyssops are a symbol of purifying and cleansing. Psalm 51:7 says, ‘Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.’ To me, this painting represents Jesus reparenting me, delighting in me, glad that He created me, like an infant receiving love through silent rocking as they are swaddled—securely attached. 🧡
